2009 Christmas Classic Results

Congratulations to Matt Beetson who took out this year's Christmas Classic after defeating Ken Harris in the final, 426 to 389 Hcp pinfall. 

Jazna Kent was the highest placed bowler from Tweed with a Stirling effort resulting in a third place, missing the final by just 6 pins for the series.

Matt finished 15th after qualifying with 1262 with Handicap and went through the final rounds defeating Garry Scarlett (Top 16), Daniel Lester (Top 8), Jazna Kent (Top 4) and then Ken Harris.

Special mention to the following bowlers who scratch averaged over 200 after 6 games qualifying:

Out of the 56 entrants there were 36 entries that qualified over their entering average, to make the Top 16 you would have had to averaged 210.3 with handicap.
